3 stars is pretty harsh, cause i felt the fried chicken was very good. a bit pricey? sure, but the quality is definitely there, with very light, crispy breading and all the juiciness inside you would hope to expect at this end of the fried chicken price range the rose tteokbokki also was quite good to me, but i am admittedly an uninitiated tteokbokki eater. i would believe if other people called it basic due simply to how heavy the seasoning seems to be on it, but it was hard for me to stop eating it -- even if it is probably just like 80% gochujang the thing i think this place is missing is more small eateries that serve beer, because this place for sure reminds me of korea. going from place to place, picking up small plates and some beers at each one; it's just a bit out of place for diamond jamboree, maybe, or a place walking distance to more bars thank you for the fried chicken! it was great

went here craving for kimchi fried rice and other spicy foods. service was fast as we got seated quickly and was periodically checked on throughout our dinner. for sure would love to come back and try what theyre actually known for, the chicken !! saw they had an assortment of flavors which all looked really good !! // kimchi fried rice- this one was loaded with kimchi and vegetables, which became a little overwhelming after a couple bites. the taste was still yummy and had a perfect spice to it. thought it was interesting to have chicken with it // rose ddeok bokki- the ricecakes were perfectly chewy. the rose sauce was okay // mac&cheese- lowkey tasted like kraft but was still sooo good. cheese was more on the wet side

Bb.q chicken is my go-to Korean fried chicken restaurant/chain. They always have perfectly cooked, crispy, and juicy chicken, just look at the picture! It may be more expensive than other places, but it is well worth it in my opinion. My usual order is the double crunch BB wings and fries and they have a $13.99 weekday lunch combo for 4 wings and two sides. This location has a great amount of indoor seating, but they are usually busy with takeout orders as well so keep that in mind.

Some of the best Korean Fried Chicken out there. BB.Q Chicken is pricey but very delicious. We ordered through their online website and bought their boneless soy garlic chicken. It was originally supposed to be their soy garlic wings, but I accidentally picked boneless. Nonetheless, our food came out piping hot and was super nice and crispy. The batter from here is unmatched. Definitely one of the better KFC spots out there, even better than Bonchon, Pelicana, or Krave down on Main in my opinion!

Double crunch wings are delish and I got a 20pc for $35. True to its name, each wings was super crunchy with crispy batter falling off the wing with eac bite. Although the wing sizes could be bigger, the chicken was tender and flavorful. I could easily go through a box of this in a few mins, but alas I have to share with the family. Pick up was super easy and the employees were pleasant when checking my order to make sure I have the correct one. Good thing they're located on the other side of the busy Diamond Jamboree area so there's more likely to be parking.

BBQ Chicken's Double crunch wings is the best! Have tried a couple of other KFC joints in the OC, nothing compares to this. IMHO, they have the best Korean fried chicken wings. So moist, nice perfect crunch and level of spiciness.

Food: the chicken here is solid. Nice crunch and flavorful. The spicy chicken is really spicy, and I'm a big fan of spice but I could handle so much of the chicken. The tteokboki was flavorful and not spicy at all. There was the perfect amount for sharing. Service: it wasn't too busy when we came in. We ordered so much food for 4 people and had to take some chicken home. They were really kind and attentive for whatever we needed. Ambiance: it's very clean inside and they have clean restrooms. This location looks brand new!
